the images are captured in a special cassette and digital images
are obtained in the computer screen. Images can be manipulated
to enhance the image quality, magnify the area of interest, can
be annoted and can also be compensated for inaccuracy in
exposure factor selection. If required, images can be given to
the patient in CD as well. The probability that repeat X-ray is
needed due to unsatisfactory image quality is very low. Patient
name and date is printed in the film for identification.
